Working with the industry for many years, we saw a need for a design and prototyping service with a quick turnaround time. So, in 2008 Heat Transfer Technologies (HTT) came to life in Chicago.

Our years of industry experience make us a great partner to innovate designs, and to prove their ability to succeed. We are proud of our work on US Department of Energy Awards, developing new and cutting-edge cooling technologies. We have partnered with universities and institutions including: University of Maryland, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Oak Ridge National Lab, International Copper Association, and Optimized Thermal Systems.

Today we continue to build on that legacy and strive for excellence in everything we do.

Optimized Thermal Systems R&D

HTT has worked with OTS R&D since 2008 on a multitude of projects.

OTS R&D supports new technology development and evaluation through services customized to meet individual project needs.

Their 8,000 square foot laboratory includes multiple environmental chambers and temperature-controlled wind tunnels to enable testing and performance evaluation for small capacity systems and components.

OTS R&D software solutions, CoilDesigner and VapCyc, can analyze individual components or complete systems, calculate energy and emissions impacts, or optimized design solutions.
